Lots & Expiry
Track items by lot number and expiry date; Picklo decides which lot leaves the shelf first by the rule you choose.

STEP BY STEP
What happens in the warehouse, and what Picklo does

Step 1: Turn on lot tracking for the item
Lot tracking is switched on per item. Each item gets a lot priority: FEFO (first expiring, first out) for perishables, FIFO (first in, first out) for the rest.
Step 2: Receive goods with their lot
At receiving, the worker picks an existing lot or opens a new one with a lot number and expiry date. The panel's Lots screen shows every lot's expiry date, days left and receipt date; lot labels print from there.

Step 3: The right lot is picked
Picklo splits the quantity to pick across shelves and lots by the priority you chose. With the setting on, the picker also scans the lot label before confirming the line; a wrong lot is flagged.
Step 4: Close a lot to outbound
A lot with fewer days to expiry than the item's threshold is closed to outbound, and an inactive lot is never suggested for picking. Replenishment also suggests the earliest-expiry lot first.
PANEL · LOTS
Which lot goes next is on screen.
The Lots screen lists every lot with its expiry date and days left. A lot closed to outbound is marked and not suggested for picking.
- FEFO or FIFO, per item
- Print lot labels from the panel
- Inactive lots are not picked
HANDHELD · PICKING
The lot label is scanned too.
With lot scanning on, the picker scans the lot label after the shelf and the item. Items without lot tracking are not affected.
