PROCESSES · STOCK ACCURACY

Returns

In Picklo the commercial return process and the physical receipt of goods are separate steps; both are recorded in the panel.

STEP BY STEP

What happens in the warehouse, and what Picklo does

  1. Step 1: Open the return

With “New return” in the panel you pick the order, the lines being returned and the reason the customer gave. The return opens as “Requested”.

  2. Step 2: Move the process forward

A return is approved, completed or cancelled; moving it forward needs supervisor rights. A closed return cannot be reopened.

  1. Step 3: Receive the goods

When goods arrive, the “Physical receipt” step records the quantity and the warehouse's finding: New, Like new, Damaged, Defective, Wrong item, Missing parts. Then the outcome: back to the shelf (sellable), quarantine (not sellable) or disposal. Recording the same receipt twice never adds stock twice.

  2. Step 4: Log unidentified parcels

A parcel without a return number is logged in a separate list with the name or barcode found on it, the carrier and the tracking number. It stays on a quarantine shelf until identified and does not enter stock.

PANEL · PHYSICAL RECEIPT

The item's condition and its outcome.

Each return line gets its own finding and outcome. Goods back on the shelf enter sellable stock; quarantined goods enter non-sellable stock.

  • Six findings, three outcomes
  • Disposal requires a reason
  • A receipt is never counted twice

PANEL · RETURNS

The commercial side of a return.

The Returns screen manages the process; the goods physically arriving is a separate event. Every return is listed with its status and reason.
